Waterlust - blending commerce & marine research

Waterlust - blending commerce & marine research

I first heard about Waterlust on the roof of a dhoni, the boat used by Maldivians to observe and research the local whale shark population. We were cruising the perimeters of Dhigurah on our daily watch, hoping to do another dive with the gentle giants. Waterlust are an interesting brand, combining producing products from plastic waste in oceans, to content creation and marine research. All to keep the spotlight on our ocean's health and wellbeing. This is particularly pertinent in the Maldives, where whole (once beautiful, isolated) islands are taken up by piles and piles of plastic waste.
