The power of unreasonable people
The World Economic Forum and the Skoll Foundation have both been instrumental in supporting the rise of the social entrepreneur - the individuals who give themselves permission to change the status quo. Many are from developing countries, building solutions from accessible eye care for the poor, to solar solutions for those off the grid, but many are also in developed nations, working in our local communities to affect change where governments have fallen short. This book charts the key traits that combine these individuals, the tools they employ, the support they need and what we can do to foster more unreasonable people and allow their ideas and results onto a global stage.
