Cities for Children & the right to play

About

Cities for Children is a small charity run from London, but concentrating its work in Islamabad, Pakistan. In their own words:

"Play is an essential part of childhood - and growing up. It is also known as “the child’s work,” because of its contribution to mental, emotional and physical development. However, its importance is often overlooked particularly in development programmes, as other needs are seen as more urgent."

CfC partners with local organisations who provide services to children who fall through the cracks, and design programmes for them based around the importance of play, or different perspectives, and life-changing experiences.
